*Pricing notes. Per-sqft pricing is for flat flooring only. Stairs are priced separately at around $175 per step for LVP (see our stairs pricing page for details). Carpet removal is fully included in the all-in price. Removing other flooring types (laminate, vinyl, tile, or hardwood) takes more labor, so we add a small per-sqft fee that we'll quote exactly during your free in-home estimate. No surprises after the fact.

What decides a carpet installation
The carpet face is only part of the system. Fiber, construction, padding, room traffic, stairs, seam locations, and old-floor removal all affect how the finished room performs and looks.
Fiber and room use
Nylon, polyester, and other fibers trade off feel, stain response, traffic performance, and price. Bedrooms, stairs, halls, and family rooms do not need the same specification.
Padding under the carpet
Padding type and thickness need to fit the carpet and room. More is not automatically better; the selected carpet's requirements control the choice.
Removal, seams, and transitions
Old carpet and padding removal are included. Room width, doorways, pattern, and adjoining floors decide seam and transition locations; seams can be planned carefully but are not promised invisible.
Stairs and edges
Stairs need a carpet, pad, and installation detail suited to tread traffic, nosing, landings, and the intended finished profile.
