How do I prepare my home for flooring installation?

We handle almost everything — furniture moving, old flooring removal, and cleanup are all included. Before we arrive, just clear small personal items from surfaces (photos, plants, electronics). We'll let you know if anything specific needs your attention.

Will there be dust and noise during installation?

Some dust and noise is unavoidable, especially during demolition and cutting. We use dust containment measures and clean up thoroughly when we're done. For hardwood refinishing, dust containment is more extensive since sanding produces fine particles.

Can I stay in my home during installation?

Yes. Most installations are done room by room, so you can use other parts of your home. For hardwood refinishing, we recommend staying out of the refinished areas for 24-48 hours while the polyurethane cures.

What happens if you find damage under the old flooring?

It happens sometimes — water damage, mold, or rotted subfloor hidden under old carpet or tile. If we find issues during demolition, we stop and discuss options with you before proceeding. Subfloor repairs are quoted separately so there are no surprises.

Do you install transition strips between rooms?

Yes. Transition strips between different flooring types or heights are included in our all-in price. We match them to your new flooring for a clean, professional look.

What's your warranty?

We offer a lifetime warranty on our installation workmanship. Material warranties vary by manufacturer and product — typically 15-25 years for LVP, 25+ years for hardwood, and vary by tile brand. We go over warranty details during the estimate.
