The calculator below gives you a ballpark from your square footage and removal type. The exact number is locked in at the free in-home estimate after we measure and check the subfloor.

What affects your final LVP price?
Square footage
Bigger jobs get a small per-square-foot efficiency on labor. Smaller jobs (under ~400 sqft) cost a little more per sqft because setup time is fixed regardless of size.
Subfloor condition
Flat dry plywood needs no extra prep. Concrete that's uneven or damp needs leveling and a moisture barrier. That adds about $0.50 to $1 per square foot in materials and labor.
Removal type
Carpet pulls fast. Hardwood, tile, and glued-down vinyl take more labor to demo. That adds $1 per square foot over the base price. Bare subfloor (no demo) drops the price by $1 per square foot.
Layout complexity
Stairs, lots of doorways, diagonal patterns, and intricate cuts around cabinets and islands add labor time. Simple rectangular rooms install fastest.
Product tier
Entry-level LVP starts around $2/sqft material with a 12 to 20 mil wear layer. Premium LVP with a 28 to 40 mil wear layer, attached pad, and a longer warranty runs $4 to $5/sqft material. Install labor is the same either way.

LVP vs. other flooring: what costs more?
Same all-in pricing model across every flooring type we install. Compare the per-sqft numbers and what each is best for.
Laminate
Cheaper than LVP. Looks similar but is less water-resistant. Good for bedrooms and living rooms, not for basements or bathrooms.
$4/sqft all-in
Hardwood
Real wood. Refinishable. Sensitive to moisture. Adds resale value the way LVP doesn't.
$8.50/sqft all-in
Hardwood Refinishing
If you already have hardwood, refinishing costs about a third of replacement.
$4.50/sqft
Carpet
Cheapest soft option. Warm underfoot. Harder to clean than LVP and shows wear in high-traffic areas.
$3.25/sqft all-in

How Our Pricing Works
All-in means all-in. Our per-sqft price covers material, professional installation, old flooring removal, furniture moving, and cleanup. No add-ons.
Bare subfloor? No demo needed, so we pass the savings to you. $1/sqft less.
Hardwood or tile removal? These take more labor to demo than carpet, so there's an additional $1/sqft for the extra work.

How much does LVP cost to install in Northern Virginia?+
Our all-in price is $6.50 per square foot. That covers the LVP material, underlayment, professional installation, and removal of your old flooring. Most LVP projects in the DMV fall between $4 and $9 per square foot depending on product tier, subfloor condition, and removal type. We quote one number before we start, and it doesn't change at the end.
What does $6.50 per square foot all-in include?+
Material (LVP planks and underlayment), professional installation labor, demo and removal of the old flooring, furniture moving, and final cleanup. The price you see is the price you pay. No itemized add-ons after the fact.
How much is LVP labor only?+
LVP labor on its own typically runs $1.50 to $3 per square foot in the DMV when paid separately from material. We sell installation all-in, not labor only, so the $6.50/sqft already includes labor. If you've already bought your own LVP and want install-only, call us at 571-341-7247 and we'll see if we can fit it.
How accurate is the LVP cost calculator?+
The calculator is within about 5 to 10 percent of the final number on most jobs. It uses your square footage, removal type, and basic subfloor inputs. The exact price gets locked in at the free in-home estimate after we measure and check the subfloor for moisture and flatness.
Does the price change if I have hardwood or tile to remove?+
Yes. Hardwood and tile take more labor to demo than carpet or sheet vinyl, so there's an additional $1 per square foot for the extra work. If you have bare subfloor and no demo is needed, the price drops by $1 per square foot.
How much does LVP cost for a 500 sqft basement?+
At $6.50 per square foot all-in, a 500 sqft basement is $3,250 for material, install, and demo. If the concrete slab needs leveling or a moisture barrier, that can add $250 to $500 to the job. We tell you the exact number at the estimate, not at the end.
What is the difference between LVP and LVT?+
LVP is luxury vinyl plank (long boards that look like wood). LVT is luxury vinyl tile (squares that look like stone or ceramic). Same waterproof core material, different shape. We install both at $6.50 per square foot all-in.
Do you finance LVP installation?+
Yes. You can pay over 24 months at 0% interest if you qualify. We confirm the terms at the estimate. Financing is paired with the all-in price, never as a hook for a higher base price.
